 Donnell Thomas is a Las Vegas native, and graduate of Cheyenne High School (Class of 2000). He furthered his education at College of the Sequoias, where he participated in football and track and field. After receiving his AA, he continued his education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, majoring in Psychology. 

Shortly after completing his education, he started his law enforcement career with the State of Nevada Department of Corrections (2005), where he was employed for 7 years. He then moved on to work for Transcor as a Transport Specialist working under the US Marshals (2012). Currently he's employed as a Corrections Officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where he's been since 2015. 
Donnell enjoys being a part of LVMPD. He continues to strive to make a difference in his community, and believes being a law enforcement officer is a privilege and an honor.
